Pamela Holcomb became a United States citizen in 1990. Her writing is inspired by growing up in a harsh area devoid of resources, with no room for human error. 

 

After living in the United States for six years, Pamela reflected on her journey from the dusty town of May Pen to the affluent cities in Connecticut and decided to catalog her experiences.

 

Drawing from the determination of her own mother and grandmother, Pamela hopes to inspire others to be unafraid of making mistakes. Those mistakes that Pamela was once so afraid of making became the pivotal turning points in her life.
